It’s hard to believe that Garuda Indonesia was not allowed to fly into EU territories from2007 to 2009 for failing to pass the union’s safety standards. The airline implemented dramatic changes to its service and is now one of the most trusted airlines in Indonesia.
Garuda Indonesia conducted extensive fleet renewal and service improvement measures to meet safety regulations. Last March, the airline became a member of the Skyteam global airline alliance. The airline got top marks for comfortable seating and excellence in food choices.
